The Nikon Z8 boasts professional-grade photography and video capabilities in a compact, easy-to-handle body. It features a 45MP stacked full-frame sensor paired with an EXPEED 7 processor, intelligent autofocus, and 8K video recording.
The Z8 has an optional vertical battery grip, making it more suitable for gimbals, video recording devices, selfies, or everyday carrying.
With its Expeed 7 image processor, the camera is ready to shoot RAW images at 20 FPS at over 1,000 frames per second. Additionally, it features autofocus up to 120 FPS and impressive video specifications (12-bit N-RAW at 8K 60fps or 4K 120fps).
Despite borrowing hardware from the Z9, the Z8 is 30% smaller than the flagship and 15% smaller than the D850 DSLR camera, making it easier to carry, set up, and stabilize.
Complementing the Z8's video capabilities is its 24-bit linear PCM audio recording, promising impressive dynamic range with minimal noise. When paired with a Tascam Digital Adapter, the Z8 can be used with a wide variety of professional XLR microphones.
Dual-stream technology simultaneously sends images to the Z8's Quad-VGA viewfinder and memory card for real-time, uninterrupted viewing at up to 120 frames per second. The 4-axis tilting touchscreen LCD, with portrait playback mode, also provides flexibility when working from different angles.
The Z8 is the first Nikon camera to support USB-C to Ethernet connectivity via a USB-C port, with a secondary USB-C port provided solely for charging and power. Wireless connectivity is available via Bluetooth and 5 GHz Wi-Fi. Dual SD and CFexpress Type B card slots offer options for both photographers and videographers.
The Nikon Z8 will be available on May 25, 2023, for $4,000 (approximately 93 million VND).
