Introducing national treasures and typical antiques of Ha Nam province to the public

On this occasion, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ha Nam also coordinated with the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum to organize the exhibition "Buddhist sculpture through the collection of the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum".

Delegates performed the ribbon-cutting ceremony to open the exhibition of National Treasures and typical antiques of Ha Nam province in 2023.

This is an activity to celebrate "Ha Nam Culture and Tourism Week 2023" and the Vietnam - Japan traditional art performance exchange program to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam - Japan diplomatic relations.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vice Chairman of Ha Nam Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Anh Chuc affirmed that the organization of the exhibition is one of the meaningful activities to effectively implement the goals and tasks according to the Conclusion of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong at the National Cultural Conference and the Cultural Development Strategy to 2030, Conclusion No. 76 dated June 4, 2020 of the Politburo on continuing to implement Resolution No. 33-NQ/TW of the 11th Party Central Committee on building and developing Vietnamese culture and people to meet the requirements of sustainable national development. This is also an opportunity to promote the image, tourist destinations, and introduce the unique cultural values of Ha Nam to visitors inside and outside the province.

The Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Nam province requested that all levels and sectors implement synchronous solutions to preserve and promote traditional cultural values, contributing to building Ha Nam culture and people for the country's sustainable development.

According to the Organizing Committee, these two events will take place at the Provincial Museum from May 16-30 with two national treasures of Ha Nam: Tien Noi 1 Bronze Drum and Giau Pagoda Stele (Ngo Gia Thi Bi) recognized by the Prime Minister as national treasures; at the same time, introducing 500 typical and unique antiques with historical, cultural and scientific values...

At the opening ceremony, Mr. Ta Dinh Quyen, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ha Nam shared that the important highlight of this exhibition space is to introduce to the public the national treasures and the typical collection of artifacts of the Provincial Museum, selected from private collectors about the archaeological excavation process at the relic site, traces of ancient religious and belief works of Ha Nam that have just been discovered, thereby contributing to the propaganda and introduction of the values of typical and unique cultural heritages of the province, educating patriotism, national pride; raising public awareness about preserving and promoting historical and cultural traditions.

Private collectors brought more than 100 artifacts to donate to Ha Nam Provincial Museum to serve traditional education work.

At the opening ceremony, in addition to participating in the exhibition, private collectors also brought more than 100 artifacts collected by themselves to donate to the Ha Nam Provincial Museum to serve the work of traditional education. Leaders of the Ha Nam Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism awarded Certificates of Merit to a group and 5 individuals with achievements in protecting and promoting national treasures.
