Strong winds and hail damage 16 houses on Quang Nam border

The hailstorm and strong winds occurred in Ga Ry commune from 12:30 to about 14:00 on April 22. Initially, authorities recorded that 16 houses in Da'ding village, Ga Ry commune were severely affected, of which 4 houses completely collapsed, the remaining houses had their roofs blown off, moved, and damaged. Fortunately, there were no human casualties.

A house of a resident in Da'ding village, Ga Ry commune, Tay Giang district was seriously damaged by strong winds and hail.

Immediately after the rain stopped, Ga Ry Border Guard Station sent officers to the area to coordinate with local authorities to inspect, assess the damage, and assist people in cleaning up damaged items and collecting corrugated iron roofs to ensure safety.

In the immediate future, Ga Ry Border Guard Station and Ga Ry Commune authorities have provided emergency supplies to severely damaged households in Da'ding village to help people stabilize their lives soon.
