Gil Lê said she hopes to receive audience support when she returns to singing with the "Beautiful Sister Riding the Wind" show in 2024.
On the afternoon of September 4th, she confirmed her participation in the program on her personal page: "As promised, we'll meet this October."
Gil Lê, 33 years old, whose real name is Lê Thanh Trúc, is a former member of the X5 music group, which was formed in 2011 and active for two years. She specializes in ballad music and has released songs such as... Where the heart finds peace, how can anyone hurt me? The one I love may not necessarily love me back.
She is more famous for her role as an MC, having hosted programs such as X-Factor Vietnam, The Debut, The Voice Kids Vietnam, and The Look Vietnam.
The singer has also ventured into acting. Love Directed by Viet Max and starring Chi Pu, she won the "Most Loved Film Actress" award at the 2015 Green Star Awards. Gil Lê pursues a unisex style and has a large fan base.
The organizers also announced four more names joining the new season: singers Thao Trang, Xuan Nghi, Hanh Sino, and DJ Mie. Previously, the artists who confirmed their participation included: singers My Linh, Thu Phuong, Minh Hang, Thieu Bao Tram, actress Vu Ngoc Anh, Dong Anh Quynh, Ngoc Phuoc.
Season two Riding the wind Scheduled to air in October, the show will be hosted by MC Anh Tuan and singer Jun Pham, with musician Hua Kim Tuyen serving as music director. Stylist Travis Nguyen will continue as fashion director for the contestants.
The first season aired in October 2023. After five rounds of performances and two final nights, French Page Becoming the team leader along with the members: Lan Ngoc, MLee, Thu Phuong, Le Quyen, My Linh and Diep Lam Anh.
The program is a Vietnamese adaptation of a Chinese television show, featuring female celebrities over 30 years old. Chi Pu He is the first Vietnamese artist to compete in and win an award in the fourth season of the Chinese version of the competition. Suni Ha Linh Participated in season two, reached the finals.
