- The book market currently has many good and useful books, like a garden full of fragrance and color, especially books for young readers. Book lovers and children can find works that suit their interests, as well as titles that convey valuable, inspirational and humane messages.
In fact, in recent years, many organizations/individuals have been tirelessly "sowing seeds of reading culture" in communities from cities to the countryside. Publishers, bookmakers as well as press and social media have all actively introduced and spread valuable works to book-loving readers near and far. These efforts have more or less spread a positive and effective spirit for developing a reading culture.
* What suggestions do you have to help children access and love books in an era when they prefer to hold phones and tablets to watch YouTube?
- The important thing is how to help children "make friends" with books. This is probably also the concern of many adults and parents. To have generations of children who love reading, adults need to patiently set an example and help children every day.
If you want children to pick up books to read, you need the guidance and encouragement of adults in the family. I think parents are the first ones to guide, choose good books for their children and read books with them. At school, teachers should increase the organization of reading lessons, book appreciation competitions, and search for “reading culture ambassadors” of their peers in the school environment so that students can continuously access books.
Cultural houses, children's houses, and public libraries can periodically organize workshops, storytelling, drawing, and creative activities inspired by outstanding works, encouraging children to read books in a spirit of fun and creative freedom.
