Professor, Doctor Vo Tong Xuan is a Hero of Labor and People's Teacher. He is the Honorary Principal of Nam Can Tho University.

Professor Vo Tong Xuan is an agricultural scientist, a great teacher in training scientific personnel for the country over the past decades and the "father" of many delicious rice varieties of the rice granary of the Mekong Delta.

Mr. Vo Tong Xuan was born in 1940 in Ba Chuc, Tri Ton, An Giang. He is also a Vietnamese scientist who has received many titles and great awards domestically and internationally...

As planned, the funeral will be held at the Ho Chi Minh City Funeral Home, then brought back to his hometown for burial.
