Attending the program were Mr. Kham Tanh Somvong, Cultural and Educational Counselor of the Embassy of the Lao People's Democratic Republic (LPDR) in Vietnam; Lieutenant General Nguyen Tien Long, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam - Laos Friendship Association; Prof. Dr. Pham Hong Quang, Chairman of the Council of Thai Nguyen University; leaders of the University of Education (Thai Nguyen University) and 120 Lao students studying at the school.

Speaking at the program, Associate Professor Dr. Ha Tran Phuong, Chairman of the Board of the University of Education (Thai Nguyen University) said: Strengthening educational cooperation and cultural exchange with Laos is an important task in the school's development strategy.
Over the years, the University of Education (Thai Nguyen University) has trained thousands of Laotian students, many of whom have become key officials and prestigious scientists in the host country. The school has organized many training courses on curriculum development, innovation in teaching methods and application of information technology for Laotian managers and teachers. The school also provides many valuable scholarships, including tuition and dormitory fee exemptions, to support the training of high-quality lecturers and teachers, especially at the doctoral level.

“In the context of deep international integration, the Vietnam - Laos relationship is increasingly consolidated and strongly developed in many fields, especially in education and training of high-quality human resources. The University of Education (Thai Nguyen University) will continue to expand cooperation activities, academic exchanges, student exchanges and scientific research with educational institutions of Laos," said Associate Professor, Dr. Ha Tran Phuong.
The exchange program took place excitingly with performances of traditional arts and dances by teachers and students, demonstrating the cultural beauty and spirit of solidarity between Vietnam and Laos.
Within the framework of the program, a discussion took place to review the glorious, heroic, loyal and devoted tradition between the Vietnamese and Lao peoples, contributing to fostering friendship and educating revolutionary traditions for the school's staff, lecturers and students.
