The spring opening program with performances such as "Spring for the Party", "Spring singing", "Spring flowers", "Spring chorus", "Coming to my hometown Dien Bien"... The cheerful songs, voices, and dances praising the homeland and country in spring create joy and excitement for the first day of the new year.
Along with that, people enthusiastically and excitedly participated in folk games and national sports, including: Pa Pao throwing , Con throwing, Tug of war and basketball competition. The events were organized in the form of exchange, performance (pa pao), one-time scoring (con throwing), or knockout competition (tug of war), grouping, round-robin competition (basketball). There were 55 teams with more than 300 athletes participating. The activities also attracted many tourists to play, experience and cheer.
The activities aim to create an exciting and joyful atmosphere. Thereby, encouraging and motivating the patriotic emulation movement, labor production, actively building and defending the Fatherland, determined to successfully implement the Resolution of the 14th Provincial Party Congress and the goals and tasks of 2024. At the same time, aiming to celebrate the major holidays of the province and the country in 2024.
