TPO - The Times Higher Education ranking organization has announced the results of the rankings by field - World University Ranking by Subjects 2025 (THE WUR by Subjects 2025).
This is a ranking of universities according to 11 training groups. In the 2025 ranking, Hanoi National University continues to maintain 8 ranked groups.
In THE WUR by Subjects 2025 ranking, Vietnam National University, Hanoi continues to be the only higher education institution in Vietnam ranked in the Education Studies (formerly Education) field group at position 401-500, affirming the position of Vietnam National University, Hanoi in research and training in the education field group.
Hanoi National University also increased its ranking in the Medical and Health group to 501-600 (previously Clinical and Health was ranked in the top 601-800).
The 8 field groups of Hanoi National University in the 2025 ranking include:
- Education Studies – ranked 401 – 500
- Medical and Health – ranked 501 – 600
- Social Sciences – ranked 601 – 800
- Business and Economics – ranked 601 – 800
- Life Sciences – ranked 801 – 1000
- Engineering – ranked 801 – 1000
- Computer Sciences – ranked 1001+
- Physical Sciences – ranked 1001+
In the Medical and Health group, Hanoi National University, along with 5 other higher education institutions in Vietnam, is ranked in THE WUR by subject 2025. In particular, Hanoi National University increased its position to a higher ranking group and is in the top 501-600 in the world.
