Meeting of the Party Committee of the Northwest Provinces in the first 6 months of 2024

On June 20, the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises (CQ&DN) Bloc hosted the Conference on Party building work in the first 6 months of 2024 of the Party Committee of the Northwest Provinces Bloc with the theme: "Solutions to improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of grassroots Party organizations".

Delegates attended the Conference on Party building work in the first 6 months of 2024 of the Party Committee of the Northwestern Provinces.

Attending the conference were comrade Nguyen Quang Truong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Agencies Bloc; leaders and delegations of the Party Committee of the Northwest Provinces Bloc. On the Dien Bien province side, there were comrades: Pham Khac Quan, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee; Nguyen Sy Quan, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee.

The Party Committee of Block 7 of the Northwest provinces includes: Hoa Binh, Son La, Dien Bien, Lai Chau, Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Phu Tho, with 8 Party Committees, 530 affiliated Party grassroots organizations holding important positions in the political system, in the province's enterprises and over 31,200 cadres and party members with high professional, technical and political theory qualifications, including many party members who are key cadres of the province and enterprises.

The Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the State Agencies and Enterprises of Dien Bien province presented the rotating flag to organize the 6-month meeting of 2024 to the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the State Agencies and Enterprises of Son La province.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Conference, Secretary of the Party Committee of the State Agencies and Enterprises of Dien Bien Province Ly Ly Xa said: In the first 6 months of 2024, the Party Committee of the Northwestern Provinces has proposed many solutions to improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of grassroots Party organizations and has achieved important results. However, the leadership capacity and fighting strength of some grassroots Party organizations and the quality of Party members in some places are still limited and have not met the requirements of the task. Therefore, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the State Agencies and Enterprises of the Province and the Organizing Committee decided to choose the content "Solutions to improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of grassroots Party organizations" as the theme of this Conference.

“With this theme, the Party Committees of each province have different methods and approaches, each with its own unique features, suitable for its locality. Today’s conference hopes that the Party Committees of the provinces in the Northwest region and the Party Committees of the provinces and cities will share their experiences, good and creative approaches in proposing solutions to improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of grassroots Party organizations; at the same time, exchange and share experiences, as well as difficulties and obstacles in the organization of the apparatus, in the leadership and direction of the organization to carry out the political tasks of the Party Committee...” – Comrade Ly Ly Xa said.

The Heads of the Party Committee of the Northwest Provinces signed the golden souvenir book in the presence of the delegates attending the Conference.

Discussing at the conference, after the introductory report of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises Bloc, delegates from the provinces shared solutions to strengthen innovation in leadership methods of grassroots Party organizations; solutions to improve the quality of Party committee members and Party members; improve the quality of Party committee activities and Party cell activities; solutions to improve the quality of inspection and supervision work of Party committees and inspection committees of grassroots Party committees...

At the end of the Conference, the Provincial Party Committee of Agencies and Enterprises Bloc handed over the rotating flag to host the Conference on Party building work in the last 6 months of 2024 to the Party Committee of Agencies and Enterprises Bloc of Son La province. The heads of the delegations of the Party Committee of the Northwest Provinces Bloc also signed the golden book to commemorate the Conference on the first 6 months of 2024.
