Meeting on internal affairs, anti-corruption, anti-waste, anti-negativity and judicial reform

In the first quarter of 2025, the province's internal affairs; anti-corruption, anti-waste, anti-negativity and judicial reform achieved many important results. National defense and security continued to be consolidated, national border sovereignty on land and at sea was maintained. Social order and safety were ensured, the peak period of crime suppression during the 2025 Lunar New Year was effectively implemented; the situation of crime, law violations, and traffic safety violations decreased sharply compared to the same period, without any complicated incidents related to security and order.

Internal affairs agencies have made great efforts in the context of having to urgently reorganize the apparatus according to the direction of the Central Government, while ensuring that all political activities and tasks are carried out smoothly, without interruption, and without leaving any vacant areas. Foreign affairs activities continue to be expanded, implemented synchronously, comprehensively and effectively. Judicial reform has been carried out effectively. The provincial judicial agencies have focused on implementing many inspections and supervisions in the judicial field, increasing the rate of successful mediation and dialogue in resolving civil and administrative cases.

The work of preventing corruption, waste and negativity has been comprehensively strengthened, especially proactively issuing full leadership and direction documents on preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity; resolutely leading and directing the implementation of the Central Government's policies and directions on practicing thrift and combating waste through the arrangement and handling of real estate facilities; reviewing projects and works that are behind schedule, have low efficiency and are at risk of waste..., removing difficulties and obstacles for coal and mineral units in the area to combat waste of resources and minerals.

The work of receiving citizens, resolving complaints, denunciations and recommendations from voters has been led, directed and effectively implemented by Party committees, Party organizations, authorities, agencies and units, in accordance with Party regulations and State laws, preventing the emergence of "hot spots" regarding security and order.

Concluding the conference, Comrade Vu Dai Thang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, emphasized: In the context of many difficulties and challenges, Quang Ninh completed its tasks in the first quarter of 2025 with many outstanding results, especially maintaining a stable local situation and positive socio-economic changes. These results have great contributions from internal affairs, preventing and combating corruption, waste, negativity, and judicial reform.

Regarding the tasks of the second quarter, the Provincial Party Secretary requested the agencies in the internal affairs sector to continue to focus on and strengthen leadership and direction in implementation, ensuring consistency, continuity, determination, timeliness, depth and specificity. In particular, continue to synchronously, decisively and effectively implement the resolutions, directives and conclusions of the Central and the province on firmly ensuring national defense, political security, social order and safety, and national border sovereignty. Quickly stabilize the new apparatus immediately after the arrangement to ensure effective operation, meeting the requirements of assigned tasks. At the same time, continue to review facilities; ensure information security, protect state secrets; strengthen document management and archiving.

The Provincial Party Secretary also requested the agencies in the internal affairs sector to continue to create new changes and progress in the work of building and rectifying the Party and a clean and strong political system. Strengthen the work of preventing corruption and negative waste to serve the Party Congresses at all levels in conjunction with urgently completing the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus of the political system. Strengthen the work of inspection, examination and supervision, focusing on the performance of public duties by cadres in the political system to further improve the quality of service to the people and businesses. Strengthen the work of receiving citizens, handling complaints and denunciations, focusing on dialogue, timely handling and thoroughly resolving recommendations, reflections, complaints and denunciations of the people right at the grassroots level. Promote the work of fighting against crimes and social evils; improve the effectiveness of grassroots security movements and models.

In the recent past, many new laws and regulations of the Central Government have been issued, especially those related to land and minerals. The Provincial Party Secretary requested the agencies in the internal affairs sector to coordinate with relevant agencies to update, proactively review, and propose to cancel the province's regulations that are no longer suitable; focus on removing difficulties and obstacles in mechanisms and policies as well as implementing effective management solutions on taxes and customs to unleash all resources, determined to complete the province's economic growth target of 14% in 2025.
