On the afternoon of June 5, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department held a conference to review press and propaganda work in May and orient propaganda work in June 2024. Comrade Le Manh Hung, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department chaired the conference.
Also attending were leaders of departments, branches, press agencies of the province; reporters of central news agencies and newspapers residing and operating in the area; leaders of Propaganda Departments of district Party Committees, city Party Committees, affiliated Party Committees and equivalent.
In May 2024, the provincial and central press agencies stationed in the area closely followed the propaganda orientation, promptly informed about political events and current events in the province as well as in the country and the world; actively propagated and comprehensively reflected all aspects of Party building, political system building, socio-economic development, national defense and security.
In particular, Ninh Binh Newspaper, Ninh Binh Radio and Television have closely followed the political tasks of the province and the direction and orientation of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department to continue to disseminate information and comprehensively reflect the implementation of the province's political tasks such as: Conferences of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee; activities of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and of departments, branches, sectors, unions, and localities in the province; visits and work of Central leaders in the province; Party building, political system building, socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security; outstanding news in the province, domestically, and international situations that are of public interest.
Central press agencies residing and operating in the province have closely followed the political tasks of the province, reflecting and comprehensively propagating political, economic, cultural, tourism, security, and defense activities... In particular, they have strongly promoted commemorative activities, promoted the merger of commune-level administrative units in the province, promoted tourism development, and attracted investment... From April 21, 2024 to May 20, 2024, there were 537 articles written by central press agencies about Ninh Binh. Of which, there were 288 articles written by central press agencies with representative offices and resident reporters operating in the province.
During the month, the activities of the Department of Information and Communications, the Department of Culture and Sports in the fields of press and propaganda; the information orientation and propaganda activities of the Propaganda sector continued to have many innovations, closely following political tasks, ensuring effectiveness and substance. The work of coordinating direction and organizing activities of the Provincial Journalists Association; the work of composing, propagating, promoting, and organizing activities of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association received attention.
At the conference, delegates spoke to clarify the results of press and propaganda work in May and proposed solutions to better implement propaganda work in June.
Concluding the conference, Mr. Le Manh Hung, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, acknowledged and highly appreciated the propaganda results in May of news agencies and newspapers, ensuring promptness, timeliness, and effectiveness, making important contributions to the province's development.
Regarding the key tasks in the coming time, he suggested focusing on disseminating and promptly reflecting on events, commemorative activities, and important tasks of the province and the country such as: developments and results of the 7th session of the 15th National Assembly; preparations for the organization of the 21st session and the mid-year session of 2024 of the 15th Provincial People's Council; the 2024 working theme of the Provincial Party Executive Committee; activities to celebrate the 55th anniversary of implementing President Ho Chi Minh's Testament and the 65th anniversary of Uncle Ho's visit to Ninh Binh; activities to promote and advertise tourism development, improve the quality of tourism services; Ninh Binh's efforts and results in implementing solutions to promote economic recovery and growth, promptly remove difficulties and obstacles, support and create favorable conditions for businesses to maintain and develop production and business.
Continue to disseminate the planning content and implementation of the Ninh Binh Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 218/QD-TTg, dated March 4, 2024, according to regulations. Disseminate the implementation of tasks on administrative reform, e-government construction, and digital transformation. Effectively deploy forest fire prevention and fighting; natural disaster prevention and control, search and rescue, drowning prevention, etc.
He also requested press agencies to actively respond to and participate in press competitions and awards organized by the Central Committee. Strengthen the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against wrong views and bad and toxic information on the Internet and social networks; effectively protect internal politics and protect state secrets. Strengthen the grasp of the thoughts, aspirations, and legitimate and legal recommendations of the people, mobilize the people to effectively implement the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's policies and laws...
