On November 7, the Supervisory Delegation No. 42 of the Provincial People's Council, led by the Head of the Ethnic Minority Committee of the Provincial People's Council, Le Van Cuong, supervised the implementation of Decision No. 42/2012/QD-TTg, dated October 8, 2012 of the Prime Minister on supporting organizations and units employing ethnic minorities in mountainous areas and areas of special difficulty (Decision 42) at Phuoc Hoa Rubber & Forestry Company Limited - Dak Lak ( Ia Jloi commune, Ea Sup district) .

Phuoc Hoa Rubber & Forestry Company Limited - Dak Lak was assigned by the Provincial People's Committee to manage more than 24,757 hectares of forest and forest land. The company has 78 employees, including 27 ethnic minority workers, accounting for nearly 34%. Although the provincial budget is low, the enterprise has been provided with salaries by the parent company and has paid insurance, with an average income of 6.5 million VND/person/month.

Among the support policies under Decision 42 (training; health insurance, social insurance, unemployment insurance; labor norms; land rent), the company has only implemented policies on health insurance, social insurance, unemployment insurance for ethnic minority workers, with a total budget from 2018 to 2022 of nearly 1.6 billion VND.

Speaking at the monitoring session, Head of the Provincial People's Council's Ethnic Minority Committee Le Van Cuong, Head of the monitoring delegation, said that the support policy under Decision 42 through organizations and enterprises is an appropriate policy, demonstrating the Party and State's concern for ethnic minorities.
