(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the morning of April 17, the thematic supervision delegation of the City People's Council led by Comrade Pham Van Lap, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Council, supervised the implementation of regulations, mechanisms and policies in industrial management and development in the city at Thinh Hung Alloy Casting Mechanical Co., Ltd. and Thanh Phuong Casting Mechanical Co., Ltd. (Thuy Nguyen district). Accompanying were representatives of the leaders of the City People's Council's Committees and a number of related Departments and branches.

According to the report of Thuy Nguyen District People's Committee, there are currently 1,540 small and medium enterprises, of which 375 are in the processing and manufacturing sector. The proportion of industrial production value in the past 3 years accounts for 25 - 27% of the total production value of the district's sectors. The district regularly organizes dialogue conferences with enterprises to grasp the production and business situation, specific difficulties and problems, thereby finding solutions to remove and resolve them according to their authority or recommending superiors, relevant departments and sectors to coordinate in considering and resolving them.

Through a field survey at Thinh Hung Alloy Casting Mechanical Company Limited (Kien Bai Commune) and Thanh Phuong Casting Mechanical Company Limited (My Dong Commune) and listening to reports and speeches at the supervision meeting, Chairman of the City People's Council Pham Van Lap acknowledged the achievements of Thuy Nguyen district and enterprises in implementing regulations, mechanisms and policies in industrial management and development. In particular, many small and medium-sized enterprises in the area overcame difficulties caused by the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic to build increasingly developed enterprises, proactively and creatively in scientific and technological innovation, applying new technologies to production and business, the products of enterprises gradually meet the needs of domestic and foreign markets, create jobs and improve income for workers as well as fulfill tax obligations to the State.

However, in practice, businesses still face many difficulties, so the Chairman of the City People's Council suggested that after this working program, the Working Group of the Supervisory Delegation continue to send documents to relevant Departments, branches, localities, and units to report additional information, clarify mechanisms, policies, and solutions to support and remove difficulties, helping businesses operate stably and continue to develop. Based on recommendations and proposals from localities and businesses, the Supervisory Delegation synthesizes and builds a general report, in which, if necessary, it can propose the City People's Council to issue a new resolution or report and request the City Party Committee's policy to guide the need for mechanisms and policies in business management and development...
