In the period of 2021-2023, the District People's Committee has provided decentralized domestic water support to 622 households, with a total cost of more than 1.86 billion VND; supported housing for 31 households with a total cost of 1.24 billion VND... In addition, the district has implemented 5 projects to support community production development: Project on raising buffaloes, cows, and female goats for breeding in 4 communes: Can Khe, Thanh Tan, Phuong Nghi and Thanh Ky with a total State support of more than 2.3 billion VND; counterpart capital of households participating in the project is more than 972 million VND.

Cultural and spiritual activities of ethnic minorities have gradually stabilized and improved; infrastructure continues to receive synchronous investment; the fields of culture, education and health in ethnic minority areas have made much progress; national cultural values ​​continue to be preserved and promoted; propaganda and dissemination of legal education in ethnic minority and mountainous areas have been strengthened; the political system has been built, consolidated and increasingly developed; social order and safety, security and national defense have been maintained.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Mai Nhu Thang, Deputy Head of the Ethnic Minorities Committee of the Provincial People's Council, highly appreciated the efforts, seriousness and determination of all levels, sectors, organizations and people in Nhu Thanh district in implementing the National Target Program on socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas from 2021 to 2023. The implementation of the Program in the district has achieved high results, ensuring quality, including many targets achieved early.

In the coming time, he suggested that Nhu Thanh district should focus more on propaganda work, mobilize the entire political system to participate and support from all walks of life to organize and implement the Program more effectively. At the same time, it is necessary to pay more attention to the role of the Party Committee at the grassroots level. The district needs to have high determination, overcome limitations, review criteria, integrate programs and capital sources, and mobilize maximum resources for investment in infrastructure construction in localities. Strengthen inspection and supervision work to ensure the implementation of the program is on target, in accordance with regulations and achieves the highest efficiency.
