Pig price in the North today October 16, 2024
In the Northern region, the price of live pigs today, October 16, 2024, continued to decrease by 1,000 VND/kg in many localities and traded in the range of 64,000 - 66,000 VND/kg.
Specifically, the price of live pigs decreased by 1,000 VND/kg for the following provinces and cities: Lao Cai, Nam Dinh, Thai Binh, and Ha Nam.
The price of live pigs recorded in Hanoi, Hai Duong, and Hung Yen is the highest in the region at 66,000 VND/kg. The remaining provinces in the region also purchase at 65,000 VND/kg, especially in Lao Cai at 64,000 VND/kg.
Latest live pig prices in the Central Highlands region
In the region today, except for Dak Lak and Ninh Thuan which remained stable, the remaining provinces simultaneously adjusted down by 1,000 VND/kg in this morning's session.
Accordingly, live pigs in the Central region are being purchased from 63,000 - 64,000 VND/kg. Of which, the price of 64,000 VND/kg appears in the provinces: Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Dak Lak, Lam Dong, Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan.

In the Southern region, the price of live pigs today decreased in the same direction as the whole country and fluctuated around 63,000 - 65,000 VND/kg.
Specifically, the price of live pigs in many localities returned to 63,000 VND/kg this morning, such as the provinces of Tien Giang and Soc Trang. This is also the lowest price in the country.
The highest in the region are the provinces and cities: Binh Phuoc, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Tay Ninh, Ba Ria - Vung Tau and Ho Chi Minh City, all buying and selling at 65,000 VND/kg.
