Nha Nam's director's apology is related to some recent unofficial news that he harassed female employees of the company.

The story has created a strong wave of public opinion on social networks in the past few days when a number of "prestigious" people in the intellectual community spoke out one after another.

Among them, Dr. Dang Hoang Giang posted a notice to stop cooperating with Nha Nam. But in this post, Mr. Giang did not give a reason. A few days before, he posted about harassment.

After Mr. Giang, a number of other people also spoke out to fight against "harassment" in the "intellectual and book environment".

However, there are also people who call on the community to stay calm and "listen with both ears". Because in this scandal, the "victim" has not spoken up. And Nha Nam has not officially responded to the "rumor".

Faced with such a strong wave of public opinion, Mr. Nhat Anh's apology, despite being late at night, immediately caused a storm. The post reached 5,000 interactions after 30 minutes and nearly 9,000 interactions after an hour.

The number of likes is almost equal to the amount of anger. Many people are not satisfied with Mr. Nhat Anh's apology.

Because he apologized for "inadvertently causing embarrassment, inconvenience, and possibly hurt" to a female employee with an action he considered "a show of concern and affection." He did not admit that it was "harassment" as "rumors" had suggested.

Mr. Nhat Anh wrote:

"Recently, there have been many rumors related to what happened during my work with a female employee in the company, making me feel it is time to say a few things to those who are interested.

I have made some gestures of concern and affection for her. These gestures do not exceed the ethical limits between people and are within the specific context.

But what I didn't anticipate was that I would unintentionally confuse, annoy, and possibly hurt her. I didn't find out until recently. I sent her my sincere apology on March 31, 2024."

In addition to apologizing to the "victim", Mr. Nhat Anh also apologized to colleagues, friends, close partners, and readers of Nha Nam books "for being bothered by many false rumors online about the above story".

"In the end, I still believe in the positive side of everything that happened. I consider this a lesson to improve myself," director Nha Nam concluded his apology.
