Mr. Trinh Bao Ngoc - Director of Ha Tinh Oil and Gas Power Company has just been elected as Chairman of the North Central Oil and Gas Association for the 2023 - 2028 term.

On the morning of December 9, in Vinh City (Nghe An), the North Central Petroleum Association held its first Congress for the 2023-2028 term.

On July 11, 2023, the North Central Petroleum Association was established under Decision No. 125/QD-HDKVN of the Vietnam Petroleum Association. The North Central Petroleum Association operates from Thanh Hoa province to Quang Binh province, including 3 organizational members: Ha Tinh Petroleum Power Company, Vung Ang Petroleum Joint Stock Company (Ha Tinh) and Hua Na Hydropower Joint Stock Company (Nghe An).

On August 24, 2023, the Vietnam Petroleum Association held a ceremony to announce the decision and launch the Provisional Executive Committee of the North Central Petroleum Association (including 1 Chairman and 2 Executive Committee members).

At the first Congress of the North Central Oil and Gas Association, term 2023 - 2028, delegates elected 10 comrades to the Executive Committee.

Next, at the first meeting of the Executive Committee of the North Central Petroleum Association, Mr. Trinh Bao Ngoc - Director of Ha Tinh Petroleum Power Company was elected as Chairman; Mr. Bui Huy Thanh - Director of Hua Na Hydropower Joint Stock Company and Mr. Hoang Nguyen Thanh - Director of Vung Ang Petroleum Joint Stock Company were both elected as Vice Chairmen.

In the 2023 - 2028 term, the North Central Oil and Gas Association identifies the general goal as: Concentrating intelligence, innovating content and methods of operation suitable for the new situation; maximizing the exploitation of high-quality human resources in collective members to participate in information sharing, technical innovation, creativity in production and consider this as the driving force for business development as well as the Association in parallel implementation of the dual task: "Accelerating digital transformation and improving production and business efficiency".

Specific objectives include: Continue to effectively carry out tasks under the direction and Resolution of the Vietnam Petroleum Association; strengthen solidarity among units in the Association in particular and in the Oil and Gas industry in general. Continue to proactively develop financial plans to ensure timely service for the Association's activities in compliance with the provisions of the financial management regulations issued by the Vietnam Petroleum Association and the Association. Continue to mobilize employees working at oil and gas units in the Association's area who are eligible to voluntarily join the Association, contributing to increasing the quantity and ensuring quality...

Speaking at the congress, Vice President and General Secretary of the Vietnam Petroleum Association Nguyen Hung Dung requested the North Central Petroleum Association to continue to unite, be creative, and constantly build a strong association.
