Provincial Police Director presents gifts to outstanding policy families in An Phu district

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), on the morning of April 23, Colonel Lam Phuoc Nguyen, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Provincial Police Department led a working delegation to visit and present gifts to policy families and outstanding meritorious people in Phu Hoi and Vinh Truong communes and An Phu town (An Phu district).

Also attending were Permanent Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of An Phu District Phung Minh Tan; Chairman of the People's Committee of An Phu District Trang Cong Cuong.

At the places visited, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Colonel Lam Phuoc Nguyen and his comrades in the delegation kindly inquired about and encouraged the health and life of the families; expressed gratitude for the contributions of the previous generation who participated in liberating the South, unifying the country, contributing to bringing independence and freedom to the nation. Thereby, hoping that the families of policy beneficiaries and meritorious people always maintain their health, continue to be a shining example for their children and grandchildren to follow; propagate for people to understand and agree with the Party's policies and guidelines, the State's policies and laws, especially the merger of the two provinces of An Giang - Kien Giang and the arrangement of commune-level administrative units.

The Provincial Police Director requested that functional branches, Party committees and local authorities continue to pay more attention to resolving policies for people with meritorious services; maintain and promote activities of "Repaying gratitude", "Drinking water, remembering its source", contributing to taking care of families with meritorious services, people with meritorious services to the revolution...

Representatives of policy families expressed their emotion at the attention of the Provincial Party Committee, along with local Party committees, authorities, departments, and organizations who have encouraged, visited, and given gifts, contributing to taking care of the material and spiritual lives of policy families to become better and better.
