Director of Quang Ninh Provincial Police visits families of wounded and martyrs

On the occasion of the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2024), on July 18, authorized by the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ninh province, Major General Dinh Van Noi, Director of the Provincial Police Department, representatives of leaders of a number of professional departments visited and presented gifts to families of wounded and sick soldiers in Van Don district and families of wounded and martyrs of the People's Public Security.

The delegation visited a number of families including: the family of Mr. Le Hong Huy, a resistance fighter infected with toxic chemicals, residing in Dong Hai village, Dong Xa commune, Van Don district; the family of Mr. Nguyen Van Viet, a war invalid, residing in zone 9, Cai Rong town, Van Don district; the family of Mr. Nguyen Dinh Chien, a war invalid, residing in village 7, Ha Long commune, Van Don district; the family of comrade Pham Huy Cuong, a war invalid working at Cam Pha city police; the family of comrade Tran Quang, a war invalid working at the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department; the family of martyr Vu Van Thiep, born in 1961, died in 1995, died while working at the Traffic Police Department, Quang Ninh provincial police.

At the families he visited, Major General Dinh Van Noi kindly asked about the health, life and activities of the families of the policy beneficiaries. At the same time, he expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation for the great contributions and sacrifices of the heroes, martyrs, wounded and sick soldiers and families with meritorious services to the revolution who did not spare their blood and bones in the cause of national liberation and unification. He hoped that the families would continue to promote the revolutionary tradition, be exemplary, take the lead in emulation movements in labor, production, participate in protecting national security and other emulation movements in the locality.

The Provincial Police Director also affirmed that over the years, officers and soldiers of Quang Ninh Police have always deeply remembered the great contributions and sacrifices of heroes, martyrs, wounded and sick soldiers and families with meritorious services to the revolution.

Major General Dinh Van Noi suggested that local police and functional departments of the provincial police need to continue to pay attention and do better in the work of gratitude, taking care of both material and spiritual needs for families with meritorious services through specific and practical actions, clearly demonstrating the traditional morality of "When drinking water, remember the source" and "When eating fruit, remember the person who planted the tree" of the nation.
