(Dan Tri) - The National Assembly approved the organizational structure of the 15th Government, including 14 ministries and 3 ministerial-level agencies, a reduction of 5 ministries and branches compared to the beginning of the term. The number of Government members also decreased by 3 people compared to the beginning of the term.
On February 18, at the 9th extraordinary session, National Assembly deputies voted to pass two resolutions on the organizational structure of the Government and the number of Government members for the 15th National Assembly term.
Accordingly, the Resolution on the organizational structure of the Government for the 15th National Assembly term was passed with 97.28% of the total number of National Assembly deputies in favor.
The Resolution on the structure of the number of Government members for the 15th National Assembly term was approved by 444/445 National Assembly deputies (92.89% of the total number of National Assembly deputies).

This Resolution comes into force from the date of approval by the National Assembly.
Accordingly, the organizational structure of the Government for the 15th National Assembly term includes 14 ministries and 3 ministerial-level agencies.

Compared to the beginning of the term (the Government consists of 18 ministries and 4 ministerial-level agencies), the Government's organizational structure has just been approved by the National Assembly to reduce 5 ministries and ministerial-level agencies. This number is the result of the restructuring of the apparatus and the consolidation of ministries and branches with similar functions.
According to the National Assembly's resolution, ministries and ministerial-level agencies officially operate from March 1.
Regarding the structure of the number of Government members, the National Assembly decided to have 25 members including the Prime Minister, 7 Deputy Prime Ministers and 13 ministers and heads of sectors. This number is 3 people less than at the beginning of the term.
