In the northern region, today's live pig prices remained stable, fluctuating between 61,000 and 63,000 VND/kg.

Traders in Hung Yen , Hai Duong, and Thai Binh are buying live pigs at 63,000 VND/kg, the highest price in the region.

Conversely, traders in Lao Cai and Ninh Binh are buying live pigs at 61,000 VND/kg (the lowest price in the region). Other localities are recording live pig prices at 62,000 VND/kg.

In this area, today's live pig prices remain unchanged and fluctuate between 58,000 and 61,000 VND/kg.

Specifically, traders in Thanh Hoa, Lam Dong, Nghe An, Ha Tinh , Quang Binh, and Binh Thuan are buying live pigs at 61,000 VND/kg, which is the highest price in the region.

Conversely, traders in Dak Lak are buying live pigs at 58,000 VND/kg, the lowest price in the region. Traders in Quang Nam are buying live pigs at 59,000 VND/kg, the same as in Binh Dinh and Khanh Hoa.

Other localities recorded live pig prices at 60,000 VND/kg.

Pork prices in Southern Vietnam

Pork prices in the Southern market decreased slightly by 1,000 VND in some localities and fluctuated between 59,000 and 62,000 VND/kg.

Today's live pig prices in the Southern region (October 30, 2024) decreased slightly.

Specifically, traders in Can Tho, Ca Mau, Dong Thap, and Soc Trang are buying live pigs at 62,000 VND/kg, which is the highest price recorded in the region.

After a price reduction, traders in Ca Mau are buying live pigs at 61,000 VND/kg, the same as in Binh Phuoc, Dong Nai, Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Tay Ninh, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Long An, Vinh Long, Kien Giang, Hau Giang, Tien Giang, and Tra Vinh.

Conversely, traders in Ben Tre are buying live pigs at 59,000 VND/kg, which is the lowest price in the region.

The remaining localities recorded live pig prices at 60,000 VND/kg.

Overall, the nationwide pork market is showing signs of stagnation. According to the latest survey, only two southern provinces recorded a slight decrease in pork prices across all three regions. Currently, prices nationwide are trading in the range of 58,000 – 63,000 VND/kg.
