Specifically, athlete Nguyen Van Truc won silver medal in the 46kg weight class; athlete Tran Quang Hien won bronze medal in the 51kg weight class. According to coach Le Hung, this achievement is encouraging, when the Phu Yen Boxing team participated in the tournament with 6 athletes, mainly young athletes with potential for future development.
In 2025, Boxing strives to win at least 5-7 medals of all kinds for Phu Yen high-performance sports at national tournaments.
