Resolving the problem of compensation and support for site clearance of Bao Thanh Wind Power Plant

According to the report, the Bao Thanh Wind Power Plant Project (item 3 pillars shared with the Ba Tri - Binh Thanh 110kV transmission line project) has 19 households affected. Up to now, Viet Nang Ben Tre Wind Power Company Limited has coordinated with the People's Committee of Ba Tri district and specialized agencies of the district and the People's Committee of An Binh Tay commune to complete the drafting of the compensation and support plan.

On November 20, 2024, the Company coordinated with the Ba Tri District Construction Investment Project Management Board and specialized departments, together with the People's Committee of An Binh Tay Commune, to organize a meeting with the people to announce the draft compensation and support plan for households whose land and assets were recovered and affected in the power line corridor.

Currently, 15/19 households agree with the draft compensation and support plan, while 4 households have not agreed.

To ensure the construction progress of the 3 shared towers is synchronized with the progress of the 110kV Ba Tri - Binh Thanh line, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Canh directed to urgently prepare, appraise and submit to the Provincial People's Committee for approval the land use plan for 2025, as a basis for land recovery and approval of compensation plan.

Assign the People's Committee of Ba Tri district and An Binh Tay commune to organize the handover of the site before March 31, 2025 for pillar foundation No. 1 (public land).

For pillar No. 2, the District People's Committee and the investor will discuss with households and agree on a plan to advance compensation and support money according to the draft plan to pay households to hand over the site.

For the T3 pillar foundation, it is agreed to recover all land according to the request of the households, carry out all procedures according to regulations, then lease the land according to the needs of the investor, the remaining part will be handed over to the locality for management.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Canh requested the People's Committee of Ba Tri district to coordinate in organizing propaganda and mobilizing households to agree with the compensation and support plan and hand over the site so that the project can be implemented on schedule.
