What solutions accelerate green transformation and digital economic development?

DNVN - At the Vietnam - Asia DX Summit 2024 organized by the Vietnam Software and Information Technology Services Association (VINASA) on May 28,FPT contributed its experience and proposed practical digital and green transformation for organizations and businesses to develop a sustainable digital economy.

According to Mr. Truong Gia Binh - Chairman of Vinasa's Founding Council - Chairman of FPT Corporation's Board of Directors, Vietnam and the Asian region are experiencing a dramatic increase in the demand for digital transformation and green transformation. Businesses and organizations are looking to leverage technology to improve performance and create new value.

In that context, the Vietnamese Government has set out the orientation for digital transformation by 2024: Developing the digital economy with four pillars of IT and Communications industry, digitalization of economic sectors, digital governance, digital data, creating momentum for fast and sustainable economic development.

Mr. Truong Gia Binh - Chairman of Vinasa Founding Council - Chairman of FPT Corporation's Board of Directors delivered the opening speech at the event.

According to Mr. Truong Gia Binh, besides the inevitable green transformation and digital transformation, there is also a new transformation - artificial intelligence (AI) transformation. The birth of super artificial intelligence will create a new source of labor - AI engineers and AI will go into all fields.

In addition, Mr. Truong Gia Binh commented that the automobile industry is changing rapidly and Vietnam has an important advantage in human resources. “Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung said: Vietnamese people have a dominant gene for scientific and technological research, and study mathematics suitable for working in the IT and semiconductor industries. In fact, the world's semiconductor industry lacks millions of workers. Nvidia CEO once said: It is very suitable, Vietnam has 1 million people working in IT, if we switch to 1 million people working in semiconductors, Vietnam will progress much faster”, Chairman of Vinasa's Founding Council affirmed.

Mr. Truong Gia Binh concluded that in order to exploit the potential of digital transformation - green transformation, creating dual development in both digital economy and green economy, Vietnam needs to pioneer the development of the following fields: Artificial Intelligence, semiconductor chips, smart electric vehicles in digital transformation, green transformation. It is necessary to focus human resources and finance on these key technology fields.

Besides topics on digital transformation and green transformation, FPT technology experts will discuss interesting content on semiconductor technology - a great opportunity for Vietnam to accelerate and escape the middle-income trap.

At the Semiconductor Industry Development Cooperation Conference held on the morning of May 29, Mr. Truong Gia Binh - Chairman of Vinasa's Founding Council - Chairman of FPT Corporation's Board of Directors will share the content: Vietnam needs to have a comprehensive diplomatic strategy for semiconductors to seize the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. FPT will accompany Vinasa and businesses in the development of the semiconductor industry.
