The workshop was organized by the Vietnam Tax Consultants Association (VTCA) in collaboration with MISA Joint Stock Company to provide knowledge and solutions to support the implementation of the electronic invoice regime according to the provisions of Decree 70/2025/ND-CP (Decree 70).
At the workshop, Ms. Nguyen Thi Cuc - President of the Vietnam Tax Consulting Association - said that Decree 70, effective from June 1, 2025, stipulates the application of electronic invoices to all business households and individuals. A notable new point is that business households and individuals with annual revenue of 1 billion VND or more will have to use electronic invoices generated from cash registers connected to transfer data to tax authorities.
“ The whole country has about 6 million business households, but only 1.3 million households declare and pay taxes. Therefore, to facilitate business households and individuals in determining revenue, expenses and tax obligations for each business sector and industry, applying digital technology solutions is extremely necessary ,” said Ms. Nguyen Thi Cuc.
In addition, Decree 70 also encourages consumers to request invoices through loyalty and reward programs, and clearly stipulates the time of invoice issuance for exported goods and services in large quantities.

Sharing his opinion at the workshop, Mr. Le Hong Quang - General Director of MISA Company - emphasized that compliance with regulations on invoices and documents according to Decree 70 is an important step in the digital transformation process, promoting the private economy, and building a more transparent and professional business ecosystem.
“ Applying technological solutions to issue electronic invoices will help households and individuals to be proactive in transactions with customers, expand business opportunities and increase prestige and professionalism ,” Mr. Quang affirmed.
To support households and individuals doing business in compliance with regulations on invoices and documents under Decree 70, Mr. Le Hong Quang introduced the Electronic Invoice Solution Set initiated from cash registers, integrating sales - invoice - accounting management. This solution set was developed by MISA with the goal of comprehensive and effective management, easy to deploy, fully compliant with tax regulations and optimizing costs for users.

The solution allows businesses to automate the process of issuing electronic invoices, minimizing errors and saving data entry time. The software connects directly with tax authorities, ensuring timely issuance and transmission of invoices, in compliance with legal regulations.
In addition, the MISA ecosystem synchronizes data between sales and accounting software to help optimize financial management processes, automatically record documents and report taxes. The highlight of the solution set is that it is developed by MISA to ensure ease of use, full functionality, and compliance with tax laws at an optimal cost.
Meanwhile, Ms. Le Thi Yen - Director of Hanoi Tax Consulting Company Limited - said that many business households still do not clearly understand their tax rights and obligations, continue to maintain a small business mentality, do not issue invoices and lack a specialized accounting department as well as have difficulty accessing electronic invoice software, especially in rural areas and for the elderly.

The application of electronic invoices generated from cash registers according to Decree 70 is an important step, helping to improve transparency and efficiency of financial management, but businesses need to prepare to cooperate with reputable partners to minimize risks and ensure legal compliance.
When applying a sales management system with integrated electronic invoices, partners and banks will also highly appreciate the transparency and reputation of the business household. According to statistics, only about 8% of micro-enterprises have access to bank loans. But when businesses use sales management software and electronic invoices, this number increases to nearly 30%. |
