HDBank Futsal Tournament 2023 ended with great success

In the 7th year accompanying the 2023 Futsal season, HDBank left its mark on fans with many exciting and attractive activities.

In particular, the 2023 National Futsal Championship and the 2023 National Futsal Cup impress with landmark changes in the history of organizing indoor football in Vietnam.

This season, with the change in the home-away format, has created a lively atmosphere in the stands. In addition, the appearance of foreign players has also contributed to creating a new breeze, making the race for the championship more attractive and dramatic in the second leg.

In 2023, the tournament will once again have to wait until the final round to determine the champion, second and third place teams. Due to the home-away format instead of being concentrated at one location like previous seasons, the organizing committee has proactively prepared the awarding options at two "hot spots": Q8 Futsal Club Stadium (where the match between Thai Son Nam Ho Chi Minh City and GFDI Song Han takes place) and My Dinh Athletics Palace (where the match between Hanoi and Sahako takes place).

Changing the competition format, the tournament brings many surprises.

The outstanding appeal of this year's tournament can be attributed to the change in tournament regulations. For the first time, each club is allowed to register 1 foreign player and 1 foreign player of Vietnamese origin, while maintaining the 2-round robin format to calculate the final ranking points.

This method helps increase resources, thereby improving the level of the Vietnamese Futsal team in the regional and world arena. Previously, teams often competed centrally, divided into two stages with fewer matches.

Accordingly, the 2023 HDBank National Futsal Championship will be held in 4 major cities: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Nha Trang and Da Nang. This will create more entertainment activities for tourists when visiting these cities and is also necessary to strongly develop Futsal in the country, contributing to improving the local sports movement.

By joining the Futsal tournament, HDBank hopes to create an attractive playground for Futsal Clubs and diversify local sports activities in Vietnam.
