On September 24, Dak Djrang Commune Police, Mang Yang District (Gia Lai) said that the authorities had just successfully rescued a young man trapped in the midst of a raging flood.

According to initial information, at around 2:00 p.m. on September 24, Dak Djrang Commune Police received a report that a young man had been swept away by water at Lo Pang Bridge and was currently stuck in the middle of the Ayun River, the border area between Dak Djrang Commune and Lo Pang Commune, Mang Yang District, Gia Lai Province.

At this time, the Ayun River was rising rapidly and flowing strongly, making it difficult to approach and rescue the victims. Dak Djrang Commune Police reported to the Mang Yang District Police and PC07 Department to request to send forces to assist.

The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Force of Gia Lai Province mobilized 2 rescue vehicles and dozens of soldiers to the scene to deploy a rescue plan. At about 14:55 on the same day, the functional forces coordinated with local people to rescue the victim.

As soon as the victim reached the shore safely, Dak Djrang Commune Police took him to the Commune Health Station for a health check. The victim's name is Phan Minh Thang (20 years old), residing in Ha Long 1 village, KDang commune, Dak Doa district, Gia Lai.
