The largest grassroots football tournament in the country officially starts a new season

Accordingly, the Tournament, jointly organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Duong province, Becamex IDC Corporation, and Binh Duong Football Federation, announced the competition regulations of the 2025 Binh Duong New City Football Tournament, as well as the registration time, to help football teams proactively prepare.

The tournament has been held for 17 seasons, always receiving widespread attention from fans and enthusiastic participation from agencies, localities and businesses. Thereby, the tournament has also become an annual sports activity with the meaning of connecting the community, promoting the spirit of solidarity and exchange throughout the province.

In particular, the Tournament contributes to promoting the campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho" and warmly celebrates important holidays of the year.

As a co-organizer, Becamex IDC is proud to not only be a pioneer in economic development but also a leading force in the local sports movement. In addition to the grassroots football tournament, this unit also organizes many cultural and artistic activities to serve the entertainment needs of the people and workers.

Last season, the tournament attracted 176 teams with nearly 4,500 players. Bamboo FC won the championship after defeating Tu Nho FC in a nerve-wracking penalty shootout in the final match, which was also the second time Bamboo FC won the tournament.

Bamboo FC is the defending champion of the tournament.

This year, the organizers announced that registration is open and the deadline for registration for the 2025 season is May 3. The delegation leaders meeting, group draw and competition schedule will take place on May 10, while the official opening ceremony will be held on the morning of May 25.

Each participating team will be supported with 2 sets of competition uniforms and 2 million VND in team building money. After the group stage, the four teams with the best results will receive 30 million, 20 million, 15 million and 10 million VND respectively. The overall champion team will be awarded 100 million VND, while the second, third and fourth place teams will receive 60 million, 40 million and 20 million VND respectively.

In addition, the tournament also has many outstanding individual awards for the most outstanding players and coaches of the season.
