Viet Tri City Open Swimming Tournament 2025: Where strength and team spirit reign supreme

The 2025 Viet Tri City Open Rowing Tournament is organized to preserve and honor the unique cultural values ​​of the art of rowing. This is a collective sports playground, helping athletes have many opportunities to exchange, learn experiences and strengthen solidarity, creating a premise for Viet Tri city to raise the scale of the organization to become a National Professional Rowing Tournament in the following years.

The 2025 Viet Tri City Open Rowing Tournament was held at Van Lang Park Lake.

The 2025 Viet Tri City Open Rowing Tournament is the same as every year, with nearly 300 athletes from 9 rowing teams including: Viet Tri City has 5 teams (Bach Hac and Duu Lau wards; Song Lo, Phuong Lau and Trung Vuong communes); Thanh Thuy, Cam Khe, Tam Nong and Doan Hung districts. Each participating team has 1 team leader, 1 coach, 1 caregiver and 27 athletes.

The qualifying round consists of 3 races with a distance of 2.6 km (with a 1.3 km turn), taking the 3 first teams of the 3 races and 1 second team with the shortest time to compete in the final.

Even though it was raining, it could not dampen the spirit and enthusiasm of the swimming teams.

In the final round, 4 teams compete in 1 race to determine the first, second and third place rankings. The Organizing Committee will base on the competition results determined by time and camera, and the ranking order may be equal if the teams finish equal within the allowed index.

According to the reporter's records, although this morning at Van Lang Park in Phu Tho there was heavy rain, the number of people coming to cheer for the teams was very large.

Although it was raining, many people returned to Van Lang Park to cheer for the football teams.

After a very urgent competition, the Organizing Committee awarded the First Prize to the Bach Hac Ward Team (Viet Tri City); Second Prize to the Doan Hung District Team; Third Prize to the Cam Khe District and Tam Nong District Teams. The Encouragement Prize went to the Thanh Thuy District Team and 4 teams from Viet Tri City, including: Phuong Lau, Song Lo, Duu Lau, Trung Vuong.

Mr. Phung Khanh Tai, Standing Deputy Secretary of Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of Viet Tri City Party Committee awarded the first prize to Bach Hac Ward Brushing Team.

The expanded Rowing Festival on Van Lang Park Lake has left a good impression on the people and tourists. The competition has contributed to introducing and promoting a countryside where people always aspire to rise up and are determined to conquer the rivers. The image of the expanded Rowing Festival has added colorful patches to the space of the Hung Temple Festival in 2025, affirming meaningful cultural values ​​to the community over time.
