Diesel price decreased by 179 VND/liter, to 18,321 VND/liter. Kerosene price decreased by 163 VND/liter, not higher than 18,627 VND/liter. Only fuel oil price increased by 179 VND/kg, to 16,090 VND/kg.
During this period, the executive agency continued not to set aside or use the price stabilization fund for all goods.

The average price of finished petroleum products in the world between the price adjustment period on October 10, 2024 and the adjustment period on October 17, 2024 is: 81.002 USD/barrel of RON92 gasoline used to blend E5 RON92 gasoline (down 0.932 USD/barrel); 87.450 USD/barrel of RON95 gasoline (down 0.822 USD/barrel); 88.438 USD/barrel of kerosene (down 1.240 USD/barrel); 88.640 USD/barrel of diesel oil (down 1.334 USD/barrel); 460.612 USD/ton of fuel oil (up 4.994 USD/ton).
In the most recent adjustment period (October 10), the price of E5 RON92 gasoline increased by VND996/liter, not higher than VND19,846/liter. The price of RON95 gasoline increased by VND1,258/liter, not higher than VND21,061/liter.
Diesel prices increased by VND1,099/liter to VND18,500/liter. Kerosene prices increased by VND1,139/liter to VND18,790/liter and fuel oil prices increased by VND908/kg, not higher than VND15,911/kg.
