From 3 PM on April 11th, the price of E5 RON92 gasoline decreased by 68 VND/liter and fuel oil decreased by 288 VND/kg. Conversely, RON95-III gasoline increased by 20 VND/liter; diesel increased by 622 VND/liter and kerosene increased by 579 VND/liter.

The price of RON95-III gasoline increased slightly from 3 PM today (April 11th) after contributions were made to the price stabilization fund.
According to a joint document from the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance, RON95-III gasoline increased by 20 VND/liter, reaching 24,821 VND/liter; diesel increased by 622 VND, reaching 21,610 VND/liter; and kerosene increased by 579 VND, reaching 21,594 VND/liter.
However, in this price adjustment period, the price of E5 RON92 gasoline decreased by 68 dong, to 23,848 dong/liter, and fuel oil decreased by 288 dong, to 17,008 dong/kg.
Regarding the Price Stabilization Fund (BOG), the inter-ministerial committee decided not to contribute to it for petroleum products, and not to use the Price Stabilization Fund for these products.
A representative from the Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex) stated that, prior to the price adjustment, the balance of the price stabilization fund (BOG) at the company was 3,076 billion VND, an increase of 3 billion VND compared to the figure announced last week.
Most recently, on April 4th, after deducting the price stabilization fund, E5 RON92 gasoline increased by 291 VND/liter; diesel increased by 295 VND/liter; kerosene increased by 136 VND/liter; and fuel oil increased by 151 VND/kg. However, RON95-III gasoline decreased slightly by 15 VND/liter.
According to Decree No. 80/2023/ND-CP amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree No. 95/2021/ND-CP dated November 1, 2021 and Decree No. 83/2014/ND-CP dated September 3, 2014 of the Government on petroleum business, which was issued by the Government on November 17, the period for adjusting petroleum prices will be shortened from 10 days to 7 days, to be implemented every Thursday.
In cases where the price adjustment period coincides with a public holiday, the following procedures apply: If Thursday falls on the first day of a public holiday, the fuel price adjustment will be implemented on the Wednesday immediately preceding the holiday. If Thursday falls on any other public holiday, the fuel price adjustment will be implemented on the first working day following the holiday.
