World oil prices today

World oil prices in today's trading session, June 29 (Vietnam time): WTI crude oil is at 81.46 USD/barrel, down 0.28 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.34%. WTI crude oil closed the previous trading session at 81.74 USD/barrel, opening today's session at 81.88 USD/barrel.

Brent crude oil was at $84.84 a barrel, down $0.42 a barrel, or 0.49 percent. Brent crude oil closed the previous session at $85.26 a barrel and opened this morning at $85.28 a barrel.

Escalating cross-border tensions between Israel and Hezbollah have raised concerns that a wider conflict could draw in other countries, including major oil producer Iran, analysts say. Leaders of many countries and experts fear any spillover could have a major impact on crude supplies from the Middle East.

On June 29, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 (46 provinces and cities currently applying) are as follows:

The above domestic retail prices of gasoline and oil were adjusted by the Ministry of Finance - Industry and Trade in the price management session on the afternoon of June 28. Accordingly, the price of E5 gasoline increased by 506 VND/liter; the price of RON 95 gasoline increased by 544 VND/liter; the price of diesel oil was also adjusted up by 329 VND/liter; kerosene increased by 258 VND/liter; and fuel oil increased by 223 VND/kg.

Discount prices of petroleum products today, June 29, at some domestic petroleum dealers are as follows:

Pvoil applies discount rates on June 29: RON 95-III gasoline: Oil discount of VND1,300/liter, RON 95-III gasoline: VND1,300/liter, E5 gasoline: VND1,200/liter. This discount rate is applied at Pvoil Dinh Vu warehouse, Petec An Hai, Cai Lan warehouse.

Tu Luc Petroleum discounts on June 29 as follows: Oil discount 1,250 VND/liter, RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,250 VND/liter, E5 gasoline: 1,150 VND/liter.

MIPEC gasoline discount on June 29: RON 95 gasoline: 1,200 VND/liter; E5 gasoline: 1,000 VND/liter; oil: 1,250 VND/liter.

Forecast of domestic gasoline prices next period

According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. It is forecasted that in the price adjustment period this afternoon, petroleum prices will likely reverse and decrease.

Since the beginning of the year, since the price adjustment session on January 4, gasoline prices have increased 15 times and decreased 11 times. Oil prices have increased 14 times and decreased 12 times.
