In the afternoon session this afternoon (March 28), domestic enterprises adjusted gold prices continuously, at one point within just 1 hour there were 8 price adjustments. The highest level was 100,700 million VND/tael at 15:05. However, after that, the world gold price was adjusted down from 3,081 to 3,073 USD/ounce, so domestic enterprises also adjusted down accordingly.

As of 4:50 p.m., the price of gold bars closed at 98.20-100.20 million VND, down 200,000 VND/tael compared to the morning session but down 500,000 VND compared to the highest price of the day.

Specifically, Saigon Jewelry Company, Doji Company and Phu Quy Company all listed the buying and selling prices of SJC gold in the range of 98.20 - 100.20 million VND/tael, down 200,000 million VND/tael compared to the morning session.

However, the price of gold rings at Phu Quy Company increased by VND500,000/tael compared to the morning session, currently listed from VND98.70 - 100.70 million/tael. Meanwhile, at Bao Tin Minh Chau Company, the price of plain round gold rings is listed from VND98.40 - 100.80 million/tael (buy/sell), an increase of VND400,000 compared to the closing price of the morning session.

The price of SJC 999.9 gold rings also increased by 300,000 VND per tael, currently trading around 98.30 - 100.30 million VND.

In today's skyrocketing trend, the buying-selling gap of gold rings has been expanding/contracting inconsistently at businesses due to the disproportionate increase at both ends of the price. The gap is currently fluctuating between 1.8-2.2 million VND./.
