Opening this morning's session (April 24), two domestic gold brands reversed and increased sharply by 1-2 million VND following the increase in world gold prices, the central exchange rate reversed and increased by 31 VND.

At 9:00 a.m., SJC gold price at Saigon Jewelry Company, Phu Quy Company and Doji were listed at 119-121.5 million VND/tael, an increase of 2 million VND/tael compared to the previous closing price.

Similarly, the price of gold rings at Phu Quy Company is currently trading at 114.5-117.5 million VND/tael (buy-sell), an increase of 1 million VND per tael.

Bao Tin Minh Chau Company announced the price of plain round gold rings from 119-120 million VND/tael (buy/sell), an increase of 2 million VND/tael compared to the previous closing price.

The price of SJC 999.9 gold rings also increased by 1 million VND per tael, currently trading around 113.5-116.5 million VND/tael.

Due to the high price of gold, businesses have left a difference of 2-3 million VND per tael, which puts the risk on the customer.

In the world, the price of gold fluctuated around 3,358 USD/ounce, up 30 USD compared to the previous session. This price is equivalent to 106 million VND/tael when converted according to the USD exchange rate at Vietcombank, lower than the domestic price by 13-15.5 million VND/tael depending on the enterprise.

This morning, the State Bank listed the central exchange rate on April 24 at 24,897 VND/USD, up 31 VND compared to the previous session. With a margin of +/-5%, Vietcombank bought at 25,784 VND/USD and sold at 26,174 VND/USD, up 33 VND.

Similarly, VietinBank announced from 25,820-26,174 VND, also increased by 33 VND. BIDV Bank increased by 40 VND, currently trading around 25,810-26,170 VND/USD.

Eximbank also increased by 45 VND, currently trading around 25,810-26,170 VND/USD./.
