Domestic gold price reversed to increase by 1-2 million per tael

This business increased 1 million VND/tael each way for gold rings, to 113.5 million VND/tael (buy) - 116.5 million VND/tael (sell).

Meanwhile, at the beginning of the hour, Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint Stock Company continued to sell gold rings at VND112.7 million/tael (buy) - VND115.9 million/tael (sell).

The price of SJC gold bars here also remained unchanged, remaining at 116.5 million VND/tael (buy) - 119.5 million VND/tael (sell).

Yesterday, April 23, the price of SJC gold bars decreased by 5.5 million VND/tael (buying price) and 4.5 million VND/tael (selling price), falling below the 120 million VND/tael mark; the price of gold rings decreased more slowly. Trading in the market was bustling but supply could not meet demand.

On the international market, early this morning, the world gold price was trading at 3,310 USD/ounce, down 40 USD from the peak of 3,350 USD/ounce of the session, and down 30 USD/ounce compared to the same time the previous day.

International gold prices fell amid cooling trade tensions and rising US stock markets.

At nearly 9:00 a.m., the gold price was trading at 3,352 USD/ounce, about 15.5 million VND/tael lower than the domestic gold price.
