Update gold price list today (April 7) at Saigon Jewelry Company Limited (SJC), Phu Quy Gold Investment Joint Stock Company, Doji Jewelry Group.

For the week as a whole, gold prices fell 1.9%. Technically, spot gold prices remain above their 21-day moving average at $3,023 an ounce - a key support level in the long-term uptrend.

According to Ms. Suki Cooper, an analyst at Standard Chartered Bank, the current development of gold prices is completely consistent with past trends.

“Gold is often seen as a highly liquid asset, so it is not surprising that investors sell off gold after risk shocks to meet margin calls from other markets,” she explained.

Despite a sharp correction, gold prices have still increased by about 15.3% since the beginning of the year, mainly due to stable buying demand from central banks and its role as a safe haven amid growing economic and geopolitical uncertainty.

In the Vietnamese market, on the Hung Kings' death anniversary holiday, early in the morning of April 7, Saigon Jewelry Company SJC listed the price of gold bars at 97.1-100.1 million VND/tael (buy-sell).
