SJC gold bar price continues to decrease to 120 million VND/tael

At nearly 11:00 a.m., Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint Stock Company listed the price of gold rings at 114 million VND/tael (buy) - 116.9 million VND/tael (sell), down 2 million VND/tael (buy) and 2.2 million VND/tael (sell) compared to the opening price.

Saigon Jewelry Company Limited reduced 2.5 million VND/tael each way, down to 113.5 million VND/tael (buy) - 116.5 million VND/tael (sell).

Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited set the price at 116 million VND/tael (buy) - 119 million VND/tael (sell) compared to 119 million VND/tael (buy) - 122 million VND/tael at the end of yesterday.

The price of SJC gold bars also decreased further. Some businesses listed the price at 118.5 million VND/tael (buy) - 121 million VND/tael (sell), down 1.5 million VND/tael (buy) and 1 million VND/tael (sell).

Notably, some businesses lowered the price to 117 million VND/tael (buy) - 120 million VND/tael (sell).

Thus, compared to the end of the previous day, domestic gold prices decreased by 2.5-4.5 million VND/tael (buying price) and 2.5-3 million VND/tael (selling price) depending on the type of gold and the business.

In the market this morning, people came to trade gold in large numbers. Due to the lack of supply, stores had to limit the quantity sold, some places only sold 2 taels to each customer.

Domestic gold prices continued to decline as world precious metal prices fell further. At nearly 11:30 a.m., the international gold price was trading at $3,340.5 an ounce, down sharply from $3,384 an ounce at nearly 9 a.m. the same day. The converted world gold price was about VND15.4 million per tael lower than the domestic gold price.
