Gold price today April 21: As soon as the market opened, SJC gold bars jumped again

On the morning of April 21, the price of SJC gold bars was listed by SJC, PNJ, and DOJI companies at around 115 million VND/tael for buying and 117 million VND/tael for selling, an increase of 3 million VND/tael compared to the weekend.

Gold prices have just dropped sharply and then increased shockingly. The difference between buying and selling prices has been widened by businesses to 3 million VND/tael.

Similarly, the price of 99.99 gold rings and jewelry gold of all kinds is listed by businesses at 112 million VND/tael for buying and 115 million VND/tael for selling - an increase of 1.5 million VND/tael.

Domestic gold prices jumped after a sharp decline at the weekend, due to the impact of strong increases in world prices.

In the international market, gold prices continued to rise after the Easter holiday, surpassing the old peak and are currently trading at 3,377 USD/ounce, up 45 USD/ounce compared to the closing price last weekend.

SJC gold bar price increased shockingly again

Gold prices not only increased dramatically but also set a new record high, continuing the upward trend over the past months. The precious metal on the international market increased in the context of the USD index not stopping its downward trend. Currently, the USD index is only 98.3 points, down 0.81% compared to the previous session.

Gold expert Nguyen Ngoc Trong said that if the world gold price continues to increase, the domestic gold price will hardly decrease further due to limited gold supply. In recent days, the price of SJC gold bars and gold rings has increased partly due to the increase in people's demand for gold, while the supply is scarce, so even with urgent instructions from the management agency, the gold price will hardly decrease deeply.

Currently, the world gold price converted according to the listed exchange rate is about 106.3 million VND/tael.
