Gold price today April 15 'Neo' at 107.5 million VND, sellers start to take profit

World gold prices fluctuated little as profit-taking pressure appeared in the market. Although it has increased by 25%, many forecasts say that gold will continue to increase in the near future, possibly reaching 4,000 USD/ounce.

Saigon Jewelry Company - SJC bought SJC gold bars for 105 million VND, sold for 107.5 million VND; and the price of gold rings was at 102 million VND for buying, and 105.1 million VND for selling. SJC Company almost did not change the gold price compared to the afternoon of April 14.

The strange thing is that the price difference between SJC gold bars is only 2.5 million VND/tael but gold rings is 2.9 million VND/tael. At the same time, the selling price of gold rings is equal to the buying price of SJC gold bars.

World gold prices rose $6 to $3,217 an ounce. The precious metal was little changed over the past day as investors took profits. Despite the small correction, the outlook for gold remains extremely optimistic. The precious metal has demonstrated remarkable strength, gaining about $350 in just over two months. Even as gold enters a consolidation phase, fundamentals suggest that prices are likely to continue their upward trajectory.

The tariff policy of the US against other countries continues to be a factor supporting the price of gold. With global economic uncertainty and escalating trade tensions continuing to provide strong momentum, gold’s status as a leading safe-haven asset is likely to drive further gains in the coming months. Global experts predict that the price of gold will rise to $3,500 in the next 60 days.

Gold’s rally above $3,200 an ounce could be just the start of a much larger move, potentially toward $4,000, as traditional safe havens break down, said Mike McGlone, senior commodity strategist at Bloomberg Intelligence.

Gold has rallied nearly 25% this year, driven by central bank demand, ETF inflows and rising macro uncertainty. Goldman Sachs raised its year-end gold price forecast to $3,700 this week and said the metal could surge to $3,900 an ounce in a recession./.
