World gold price today April 14, 2025 and world gold price fluctuation chart in the past 24 hours

According to Kitco, the world gold price recorded at 4am today, Vietnam time, was 3,235.91 USD/ounce. Today's gold price is unchanged compared to yesterday. Converted according to the USD exchange rate on the free market (26,020 VND/USD), the world gold price is about 101.5 million VND/tael (excluding taxes and fees). Thus, the price of SJC gold bars is 5.0 million VND/tael higher than the international gold price.

World gold price developments in the past 24 hours.

Domestically, gold prices of various brands have just ended the week with a “skyrocketing” increase to new record levels. At the end of the week, SJC gold bars were traded at VND106.5 million/tael; SJC gold rings were traded at VND104.9 million/tael.

Despite the precious metal’s strong performance, many expect the trend to continue next week. In a Kitco News survey of 16 Wall Street analysts, 15, or 94%, predicted that gold prices would continue to rise next week. None predicted a decline, with only one analyst, or 6%, predicting that gold will remain at its current highs.

On the retail side, Kitco’s online survey attracted 275 votes, of which 189 (69%) believe gold prices will rise, 50 (18%) predict prices will fall, and 36 (13%) believe prices will be flat next week. This sentiment reflects confidence in gold amid weakness in other asset classes.

“I am bullish on gold next week,” said Colin Cieszynski, an expert at SIA Wealth Management. “The dollar is trending lower and the uncertainties supporting gold seem to be here to stay.”

Michael Moor, founder of Moor Analytics, believes that gold prices have room to continue rising, as long as they do not fall below $3,224.50 an ounce. Moor had previously predicted that gold would rise at least $151 and as much as $954 from $2,148.40, and the market has actually risen to $1,100.60, exceeding his highest target.
