Pork price today April 19: Stable on the weekend

According to the morning session of April 19, the price of Meat Deli chilled pork from the website winmart.vn continues to be quiet. Currently, the price of pork at WinMart fluctuates between 119,922 - 163,122 VND/kg and is discounted by 20% according to the preferential program for WinMart members.

Of which, ground pork 1 is being sold at 119,922 VND/kg, the lowest price among pork products at WinMart. Next are lean pork thigh, lean pork shoulder and boneless ham, respectively at 122,320 VND/kg, 126,320 VND/kg and 127,922 VND/kg.

Pork prices at Ha Hien Fresh Food Company also remained stable this morning. Currently, pork products are sold at prices ranging from 85,000 - 181,000 VND/kg.

Accordingly, the price of pork fat is currently 85,000 VND/kg, the lowest among the surveyed products. Next is pork ribs, which are listed at 128,000 VND/kg. Slightly higher, two products, lean shoulder meat and lean pork leg, are being sold at the same price of 130,000 VND/kg.

Northern pig prices reverse and decrease slightly

The live hog market fluctuated in different directions this morning. Specifically, the price of live hogs decreased slightly in some northern provinces and continued to increase in the central and southern regions. Currently, the price of live hogs nationwide fluctuates from 68,000 - 75,000 VND/kg.

On the weekend morning (April 19), the northern pig market unexpectedly witnessed a slight decrease in some localities.

Accordingly, Hung Yen and Thai Binh both reduced the price to 69,000 VND/kg. Thus, the price of live pigs in this area is no longer recorded at 70,000 VND/kg.

In the Central Highlands, the price of live pigs remained stable in most provinces and cities. Only Lam Dong and Binh Thuan increased by one price, to 74,000 VND/kg, the highest in the region.

Currently, live pigs in this area are being purchased by traders at prices ranging from 68,000 - 74,000 VND/kg.

The price of live pigs in the Southern region increased by one price in Vinh Long and Soc Trang , both reaching 74,000 VND/kg. Also recording this increase, live pigs in Tra Vinh reached 75,000 VND/kg this morning.

Live pigs in the southern provinces and cities are currently being bought and sold for around 73,000 - 75,000 VND/kg. This is currently the region with the highest live pig price in the country.
