Coffee replanting in Dak Nong is facing obstacles due to high investment costs and the impact of climate change. According to the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the replanting program from 2021 to now has only reached 7,456 hectares, lower than the planned 17,892 hectares. The main reason is the high coffee price, making farmers afraid to replace old, low-yielding gardens, along with erratic weather making it difficult to graft and replant trees.
