Foreign exchange prices on December 26: USD and CNY exchange rates fluctuate in the same direction

DNVN - The exchange rate between the Vietnamese Dong (VND) and the US Dollar (USD) and the Chinese Yuan (CNY) on the morning of December 26 continued to record a trend of fluctuating in the same direction.

Foreign exchange price on December 24, 2024: USD rises back to 108

The State Bank today announced the central exchange rate at 24,310 VND/USD, down 10 VND compared to December 25. The ceiling exchange rate according to the +/-5% band was adjusted to 25,526 VND/USD, while the floor exchange rate was 23,095 VND/USD. At the State Bank's transaction office, the reference exchange rate remained at 23,400 - 25,450 VND/USD (buy - sell).

At 8:17, commercial banks began to update the USD exchange rate with a slight downward trend. Vietcombank listed the rate at 25,225 - 25,525 VND/USD (buy - sell), down 11 VND in both directions compared to yesterday. BIDV also adjusted down 11 VND, recording the USD exchange rate at 25,230 - 25,525 VND/USD (buy - sell).

Regarding the NDT exchange rate, commercial banks also made adjustments this morning.

At Vietcombank, the buying and selling prices of the CNY were listed at 3,429 - 3,539 VND/CNY, down 2 VND for buying and 3 VND for selling. Meanwhile, BIDV listed the CNY exchange rate at 3,444 - 3,540 VND/CNY (buying - selling), down 3 VND for both trading directions.
