In particular, for rice, according to the update from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of An Giang province, the current price of IR 50404 rice (fresh) decreased by 100 VND, fluctuating at 5,400 - 5,600 VND/kg; OM 5451 rice fluctuated at 5,800 - 6,000 VND; Dai Thom 8 rice (fresh) fluctuated at 6,600 - 6,800 VND; OM 380 rice was at 6,600 - 6,700 VND/kg; OM 18 rice (fresh) fluctuated at 7,600 - 7,800 VND/kg; Nhat rice was at 7,800 - 8,000 VND/kg; Nang Hoa 9 was at 9,200 VND/kg.

In many localities today, rice is being offered for sale slowly, new rice transactions are still slow. In Bac Lieu, the remaining small amount of late-season Autumn-Winter rice is being cut slowly, farmers are offering prices slightly lower than yesterday. In Dong Thap, farmers are offering stable prices, new transactions are slow.

In Can Tho, the demand for fragrant rice is sporadic, not much in quantity, traders buy little for the first crop of the year, rice prices fluctuate little. In An Giang (Tri Ton), farmers mainly sell fragrant rice and horizontal rice, OM5451 rice is in small quantity, buying and selling is slow. In Soc Trang, the supply of rice for sale is quite good, most buyers buy rice on deposit before Tet.

Similarly, with rice, according to an update from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of An Giang province, currently IR 504 raw rice fluctuates at 7,700-7,800 VND/kg compared to before Tet; IR 504 finished rice fluctuates at 9,500-9,700 VND/kg; OM 380 raw rice fluctuates at 7,400-7,500 VND/kg compared to before Tet; OM 380 finished rice fluctuates at 8,800-9,000 VND/kg; 5451 raw rice decreased by 100 VND, fluctuating at 8,800-8,900.

As for by-products, the prices of by-products fluctuate from 5,500 - 7,300 VND/kg. Currently, the price of broken rice fluctuates at 7,100 - 7,300 VND/kg; the price of dry bran fluctuates at 5,500 - 5,600 VND/kg compared to yesterday.

Recorded in localities today, the amount of rice arriving is small, the buying and selling transactions are still slow. In Sa Dec (Dong Thap), rice is arriving sporadically, the amount is not much; fragrant rice is in high demand but the amount arriving is small.

Sa Dec market canal (Dong Thap), the flow of rice is slow, bad rice is in large quantity, warehouses buy slowly, rice prices are stable. At An Cu (Cai Be, Tien Giang), the flow of rice is low, trading is still slow, fragrant rice is in small quantity, only fragrant sage rice is bought slowly in the market, making the price increase.

At retail markets, rice prices of all kinds are stable compared to yesterday. Currently, regular rice fluctuates at 16,000 - 17,000 VND/kg; Nang Nhen rice has the highest listed price of 28,000 VND/kg; long-grain fragrant rice is 20,000 - 22,000 VND/kg; Huong Lai rice is 22,000 VND/kg; Jasmine fragrant rice fluctuates at 18,000 - 20,000 VND/kg; common white rice is 17,000 VND/kg; Nang Hoa rice is 22,000 VND/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice is 21,000 VND/kg; Soc rice usually fluctuates at 18,000 VND/kg; Soc Thai rice is 21,000 VND/kg; Japanese rice is 22,000 VND/kg.

In the export market, Vietnam's rice export prices today are stable compared to yesterday. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), currently 5% standard rice is at 405 USD/ton; 25% broken rice is at 380 USD/ton; 100% broken rice is at 318 USD/ton.
