Regarding rice, according to the update from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang province, the current price of OM 18 rice (fresh) fluctuates at 6,800 - 7,000 VND/kg; the price of OM 380 rice (fresh) fluctuates at 5,900 - 6,000 VND/kg; the price of OM 5451 rice (fresh) fluctuates at 6,200 - 6,300 VND/kg; the price of Dai Thom 8 rice (fresh) fluctuates at 6,900 - 7,000 VND/kg; the price of IR 50404 rice (fresh) fluctuates at 5,800 - 6,000 VND/kg; the price of Nang Hoa 9 rice fluctuates at 6,550 - 6,750 VND/kg.

In many localities today, fresh rice supply is decreasing, buying and selling transactions are slow. In Long An, traders are slow to ask for purchases, purchasing power is not high, prices are stable. In Tra Vinh, rice fields are empty, rice prices fluctuate little.

In An Giang and Can Tho, the remaining rice supply is gradually decreasing, the buying and selling transactions are slow, and the price is stable. In Bac Lieu, many areas of fragrant rice have been pledged, and the demand for buying is sporadic.

Similar to rice, according to the update from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang province, currently OM 18 raw rice fluctuates at 10,200 - 10,400 VND/kg; IR 504 raw rice fluctuates at 7,900 - 8,050 VND/kg; OM 380 raw rice fluctuates at 7,700 - 7,850; 5451 raw rice fluctuates at 9,600 - 9,750/kg; OM 380 finished rice fluctuates at 8,800 - 9,000 VND/kg; IR 504 finished rice fluctuates at 9,500 - 9,700 VND/kg.

As for by-products, the price of by-products ranges from 7,400 - 9,000 VND/kg. Currently, fragrant rice bran ranges from 7,400 - 7,500 VND/kg; the price of bran ranges from 8,000 - 9,000 VND/kg.

Recorded in localities today, low volume, slow trading, stable prices. In An Giang, rice trading is stable, white raw rice of all kinds is stable in price. In Lap Vo (Dong Thap), low supply, stable prices.

Sa Dec market canal (Dong Thap), low volume, warehouses still buy slowly, prices are stable. At An Cu (Cai Be, Tien Giang), volume is sporadic, warehouses and markets trade slowly, prices are stable.

At retail markets, the prices of all types of rice remained unchanged compared to yesterday. Currently, Nang Nhen rice has the highest listed price of VND28,000/kg; regular rice fluctuates at VND15,500 - 16,000/kg; long-grain fragrant rice fluctuates at VND20,000 - 22,000/kg; Huong Lai rice fluctuates at VND22,000/kg; Jasmine fragrant rice fluctuates at VND18,000 - 20,000/kg; Nang Hoa rice fluctuates at VND22,000/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice fluctuates at VND21,000/kg; common white rice fluctuates at VND17,000/kg; Soc regular rice fluctuates at VND18,000/kg; Soc Thai rice is priced at VND21,000/kg; Japanese rice is priced at VND22,000/kg.

In the export market, Vietnam's rice export prices today decreased slightly compared to mid-week. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), currently 5% standard rice is at 394 USD/ton (down 2 USD/ton); 25% broken rice is at 367 USD/ton (down 1 USD/ton); 100% broken rice is at 317 USD/ton.
