At the meeting, delegates heard reports on the results of the ethnic work of the Front in 2024 and the first quarter of 2025; the results of implementing socio-economic, national defense and security tasks in 2024, the first quarter of 2025 and the socio-economic development plan of the province in 2025.

Accordingly, the work of ethnic minorities and the promotion of the role of prestigious people among ethnic minorities continue to be seriously, synchronously, flexibly and effectively implemented by the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee. Coordination activities to care for ethnic minorities are organized extensively, practically, with focus and key points, contributing to strengthening the great national unity bloc, consolidating the people's trust in the Party, the State and the political system.
Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ton Ngoc Hanh highly appreciated the contributions of the village elder, a prestigious person, to the overall development of the province in recent times.
The coordination of propaganda and mobilization has been effective; patriotic emulation movements, building new rural areas, civilized urban areas, sustainable poverty reduction... have been supported and actively participated in by the people, especially prestigious people. The contingent of prestigious people is truly an important bridge between the Party, the government and the people, the core force in propaganda, mobilization, security and order protection, preserving cultural identity, and participating in socio-economic development in ethnic minority areas.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Tan Phu briefly announced the results of the front's ethnic work in 2024 and the first quarter of 2025.
In implementing poverty reduction work, in 2024, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province focused resources to support investment in socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas; at the same time, allocated support for housing construction for poor ethnic minority households. As a result, during the year, 702 houses were supported and built, worth more than 52 billion VND; 57 houses were repaired, worth more than 1.5 billion VND; production support was provided to 612 people worth more than 4.9 billion VND, and 1,092 students in difficult circumstances with a total value of 777 million VND. In particular, since the beginning of 2025, the implementation of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses for the poor in the province has been vigorously implemented by all sectors, with more than 600 houses expected to be completed before April 30 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification.
The meeting also took time for delegates to exchange thoughts and aspirations related to policies for village elders and prestigious people; health insurance policies for ethnic minorities; roads, lighting systems; compensation and site clearance, resettlement arrangements for the Gia Nghia (Dak Nong) - Chon Thanh (Binh Phuoc) expressway project... At the same time, many recommendations were made related to economic and cultural development, preservation and promotion of cultural values in ethnic minority areas; propaganda and mobilization work; programs to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses; work to streamline the state apparatus...

Speaking at the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Ton Ngoc Hanh informed delegates about the province's development situation and some issues that the people are concerned about. Provincial Party Secretary Ton Ngoc Hanh requested relevant sectors and units to grasp the aspirations of the people, consider and promptly resolve difficulties and problems within their authority. From now until the time of the province's merger, officials of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and mass organizations are required to increase their visits to the grassroots to grasp the aspirations of the people, promptly resolve even the smallest issues and suggestions from the people. At the same time, he hopes that village elders and prestigious people will continue to promote their roles and prestige, together with the community's responsibility to the political system of the whole province to complete the work goals in 2025.
