iPhone 15 price slightly decreased after one month of sale

The iPhone 15 started appearing on official Vietnamese retail channels on September 29th and quickly faced shortages due to its even greater popularity compared to its predecessor.

In summary, after the first day of sales from AARs (Apple authorized dealers), total market sales reached over 1 trillion VND. And that's not all; the product continues to be in high demand on store shelves, especially as prices are starting to stabilize.

According to the websites of major retailers in Vietnam such as The Gioi Dien Dong (TGDĐ),FPT Shop, CellphoneS, and Di Dong Viet, the selling prices of the iPhone 15 series continue to vary between retailers, ranging from a few hundred thousand to 2 million VND.

The natural titanium color on the iPhone 15 Pro models is frequently sold out at retail outlets.

Specifically, the 256GB iPhone 15 Pro Max is priced at 34.99 million VND at TGDĐ, 34.49 million VND at FPT Shop, 33.99 million VND at CellphoneS, and the cheapest at 33.79 million VND at Di Động Việt. Similarly, the lowest price recorded for the 512GB version is currently around 38.99 million VND.

The iPhone 15 Pro 128 GB is being sold at the same price of 28.49 million VND at The Gioi Dien Thoai (TGDĐ) and FPT Shop (listed price at launch was 28.99 million VND), while Di Dong Viet is about 700,000 VND cheaper. Higher capacity versions like 256 GB and 512 GB also show price differences of around 1-1.5 million VND between retailers.

The iPhone 15 duo (standard and Plus) are now priced at only VND 21.39 million and VND 25.79 million respectively for the 128GB version, although prices may be higher depending on the listed price at Apple. Meanwhile, the prices of all four models across different storage capacities on the official Apple Vietnam website remain unchanged.

Experts believe this is normal practice for manufacturers to consistently list stable prices, avoiding frequent adjustments that would create competition with AAR systems and smaller dealers, which could negatively impact the market and brand.

To compete with Apple's own stores and other major players dominating the market, smaller retail chains often offer promotions and messages that appeal to consumer psychology, focusing on lower prices, more support, and additional customer service.

The iPhone 15 is entering a stabilization phase.

Sharing about this, Ms. Phung Phuong, media representative of Di Dong Viet, said that so far the system has delivered phones to all users who placed deposits in the early days of sales due to limited quantities. New shipments are distributed to all stores nationwide, making it easier for users to access and purchase without having to place deposits as is customary.

" We are not only committed to having iPhone 15 series readily available in all colors and capacities, and delivering them to customers immediately, but also offering them at our unique prices," Ms. Phuong emphasized.

Mr. Nguyen The Kha, Commercial Director of FPT Shop System, commented after one month of business: " The very positive results for the iPhone 15 series upon launch are a positive sign not only for the launch month but may extend to the end of the year."

We hope that, along with signs of macroeconomic recovery, the year-end shopping season will have a positive impact on the smartphone business in particular and retail in general, compensating for the difficult period at the beginning of the year ."
