Many traders believe that this stability is due to the lack of excess supply, combined with demand from large warehouses showing signs of increasing again. This can create favorable conditions for market development in the coming time, while also giving livestock farmers more motivation to maintain production.

Overall, today's live hog prices show a positive picture of market stability and recovery, although there are still many factors to monitor in the coming time.

The average price level in the South is currently fluctuating from 70,000 to 73,000 VND/kg, showing stability and a slight increase in the market context. According to information from traders, some large farms in the West are temporarily suspending sales to wait for prices to increase further. This has led to a quiet situation in the slaughterhouse market, but prices have shown signs of increasing slightly.

This recovery can be seen as a positive signal for the southern pig market. The fact that large farms have temporarily suspended sales shows that they are expecting higher prices in the near future. However, the quiet trading situation may affect the supply capacity in the short term. If demand continues to increase and supply is not oversupplied, pig prices may continue to increase in the near future.

Pig price news on April 6, 2025

Experts predict that domestic pork prices are likely to continue to increase slightly in the coming time if supply does not improve. In addition, the upcoming holiday season may increase demand for meat, putting upward pressure on prices from now until mid-April.

However, factors such as weather and disease remain potential threats that can impact the supply chain, especially in areas with small-scale farming.
