Singer Thu Thuy is currently an officer of the Army Music and Dance Theater with the rank of Senior Lieutenant. Possessing a powerful voice and beautiful appearance, singer Thu Thuy - a student of People's Artist Ha Thuy - won first prize in the Hanoi Voice Contest 2016 and then was crowned champion of the light music category of the Sao Mai Contest 2017.

Thu Thuy is considered one of the outstanding singers of the unit with many awards in national and military professional festivals and performances. She is also a familiar face in VTV programs, the capital's stage and the provinces.

Meanwhile, singer Minh Quan - a member of the Thang Long band, won first prize in the 2017 Vietnamese - Chinese Singing Contest. He has a sweet and lyrical semi-pop voice.

Having met through music when participating in the X-Factor competition on television, Thu Thuy - Minh Quan decided to tie the knot through marriage to share, support and accompany each other in life and in their musical careers.

Although they do not appear much in entertainment programs, both of them still regularly participate in artistic activities at the Theater and have achieved many successes. Up to now, the couple still maintains a friendly image, close to the audience with a lyrical pop style.

Sharing with Hanoi Moi, Thu Thuy said that both of them want to build an image of artists without scandals. Therefore, after their personal music products in 2019, she and her husband have now decided to carry out their own music projects in addition to their artistic activities as a soldier. “We want to spend more time with our family, so during this time, both of us have rarely produced personal music products. Now that our children are older, we will gradually carry out new music projects.”

According to singer Minh Quan, since the two decided to stick together and build a home, the couple not only shared all the difficulties in life but also had harmony in music.

On April 26, the couple Minh Quan and Thu Thuy will hold a mini show "Love" at the Music Garden, Hanoi Opera House, to celebrate the couple's 10th year of singing, and at the same time, an opportunity for them to express their feelings to the audience.

This is a special event, not only marking an important milestone in their musical career but also an opportunity for Minh Quan and Thu Thuy to share their love journey, accompanying each other from stage to real life.

The music night consists of 3 chapters: Meeting, Love and Love - a story about the journey of the artist couple. "Meeting" is the starting moment of all love, fresh and vibrant emotions. Next is "Love" - ​​surging emotions, sweet and romantic songs expressing the attraction and passion in love. Finally, "Love" - ​​love has been tempered through time and ups and downs.

Singer Thu Thuy revealed that the music night is an opportunity for her, her family, friends and close audience to live in happy moments of music. Therefore, the 20 songs performed in the music night are mainly about love such as: "Cho em mot luc yeu", "Mua he dep nhat", "Tam yeu nhau binh yen thoi", "De nho mot thoi ta da yeu"...

The “Music Garden” space of the Opera House was formed with the purpose of creating an artistic rendezvous for the capital’s audience. This is also a cultural and tourism product to promote the heritage value of the Hanoi Opera House.
